HBCA hosts several major annual events:
–Hopkins Summerfest: a 10-week concert series that runs all summer from June through August.
–Halloween in Hopkins: presented for the first time in 2017 in conjunction with the Hopkins Police Department, it is a costumed event where kids can visit the Haunted Jail at the Police Department, followed by trick-or-treating on Mainstreet and at other local businesses.
–Old Fashioned Holiday: the Small Business Saturday winter festival and holiday season kick-off.
Both of these events are free and open to the public. Featured participation and promotional consideration is limited to active HBCA member businesses only.
In addition, HBCA hosts monthly meetings where members can get the latest news on the happenings in Hopkins as well as gain access to continuing education and business development speakers.
